Do you want your inner-person to be healed?

(Biblical steps to inner healing)
Below are basic lists of fundamental steps that are so important for those receiving or ministering inner healing. This is a vital part of the deliverance ministry and plays an irreplaceable role in setting many free today.
God wants to take your wounds, pain, hurts, and sorrow!
Before we begin, I want you to know that God desires to heal our wounds and take our pain and hurt from us. You know how you can love somebody so much, that you wish you could take their pain or suffering from them? That's how Jesus feels about us... He loves us so much that He paid the price for our emotional healing in the work on the cross!

What Does the Bible Say About Peace?

Many people wonder what the Bible has to say about peace. Peace is one of the fruits of the Spirit. Peace is also a natural byproduct of being in harmony with God. When we follow God's laws, we experience peace. God blesses the peacemakers and encourages us to be at peace with one another.

  1. Identification

    • Peace is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit. The Bible defines the fruit of the Holy Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23, and peace is the third characteristic mentioned. As we transform ourselves to reflect more of God's character, evidence of our relationship with God grows in our lives. Peace is one of the "fruits" or results of being in a relationship with God.

    Features

    • The Bible tells us that peace is a fruit of righteousness and that the effect of righteousness is "quietness and confidence forever" (Isaiah 32:17). Righteous is another way of being in harmony with God. So, being in harmony with God and loving God's law brings about great peace (Psalm 119:165). Peace is also a result of wisdom, which is also defined as following God's laws (Proverbs 3). According to Proverbs 3:17, wisdom's "ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are pea

       Considerations

    • The Bible says that peace comes from God. God is the one who blesses His people with peace (Psalm 29:11). For God to bless us with peace, we must follow His commands. In Isaiah 48:18, the Bible says, "If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your righteousness like the waves of the sea." Choosing not to follow God's commands results in the absence of peace.

    Benefits

    • The Bible says that God blesses the peacemakers. According to Matthew 5:9, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God." Proverbs 12:20 tells us that there is "joy for those who promote peace." Psalm 34:14 advises us to "seek peace and pursue it." God wants us to "live in harmony with one another" (Romans 12:16; I Peter 3:8), which results in being peaceful with one another. "God is not a God of disorder but of peace" (I Corinthians 14:33).

    Significance

    • Nothing can remove God's peace from us. God says in Isaiah 54:10 that "though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed." Peace grows as we trust in God (Romans 15:13). When we are anxious, the Bible tells us to give thanks to God and pray. Then the "peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7).

Essential Elements in Communicating with God

"My sheep listen to my voice; I know them and they follow me." (John 10:27)

Certain elements are required to make your first contact with God. This is where you practice listening for God's voice. It's like tuning in a radio station inside of your mind, but you are tuning for God’s thoughts. Once you know what God's voice is like, it's easier to find it again. Here are the components that are helpful in establishing the connection.

                                                                          Silence

Find a quiet place. Little noises may be distracting, particularly at first. It helps most people to close their eyes. Choose a quiet place, get into a comfortable position and relax.
Willingness

Be open to the possibility that there is a God. You don’t have to have a deep religious faith, but you have to be willing to let go and allow the communication to occur. You can’t make it happen. The words will come naturally without effort. Some people try too hard and get frustrated.
The first communications from God will be short, usually one word or phrase. Start the conversation flowing by asking the right question: "God, what is the next step in my relationship with you?”
Ask the question as if God were present in the room with you. Don’t be afraid. God will not let you down. Now wait and listen. One word or phrase will silently come into your mind. This will be a tender thought process. Write down whatever God says. This communication will be accompanied with a feeling of peace.
The word or words directs you to take a long journey. If the word was believe, you take a journey so you can come to believe. If it was trust me you take a journey to learn how to trust God. If it was love, you take a journey to learn how to love.

There are several ways to confirm that the communications come from God. This is called testing the spirits. Compare the communication with scripture. God will never disagree with himself, and he has spoken in the Bible. Check out the communication with other believers. Some have the gift of discernment. A prayer group or clergy person may be willing to help. If you need a direct test of the communication open the bible randomly and read where ever your eye hits on the page. Three things will be revealed at some point you as you read:

1. A feeling of peace.
2. The hurdle or hurdles between you and God.
3. The action you can take today to begin your new spiritual journey.

                                             Discipline

Discipline yourself to communicate with God every day. Things are not going to get right in your life until you spend quality time with God. Get a pad of paper and a pen and put it beside your bed. Every morning ask God, "God, what do you have to say to me today." Put the pen to the paper. Words will come, and when they do, write them down. It might be a word or two, a sentence or two, or a page or two. You will know when the communication is done. It is your responsibility to carry out what God tells you to do that day. This is the way to be happy, joyous and free.
Discover the Purpose For Your Life
As you continue your communications with God a time will come when he will tell you the plan for your life. This plan will awaken the seed completely and you will be given great power to carry the plan out. This plan will seem so fantastic that you will know that you are incapable of doing it. Remember, if you use God's power, you can do anything. With God all things are possible. All you have to do is take one step at a time and God will make the plan come true.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)Find a Spiritual Friend
It is important to ask a spiritual friend to help you. If you don't do this, evil will fool you and you will get lost. This person must be someone who is further along on the spiritual journey. Pray for this person to come into your life. Find a place of worship where you feel accepted. Tell your spiritual friend everything that happens between you and God. Share the details of your journey.
If you genuinely tried the exercises suggested here, you have made your first conscious contact with God. Don't stop! There are many more ways to hear God's voice. You can improve your relationship with God. You have a long journey ahead of you. This new adventure with God will give you happiness beyond your wildest dreams. I'm sure you can't wait to get going and learn more about how to hear God's voice. He wants to answer your questions and welcome you home.

12 Secrets Every Leader Should Know

1. Having a vision is easy. Sticking to the vision takes extraordinary discipline and effort.

Every pastor and church has a vision. Every one of them I’ve ever seen is Biblical. However, even most church planters get sidetracked form their visions within the first few years. We have stuck to our guns. We’ve been “mean about the vision.” It’s made all of the difference!

2. Conviction and Courage is more important than strategy.

My passion and sense of conviction, along with the courage to stay the course is more important than any brilliant strategy I could come up with that no one has ever done before.

What Does The Bible Say About Heaven?

What does the Bible say about heaven?  It it a physical place?  An idea?  A state of being? The truth is that the Bible has a ton to say about heaven.  The Scriptures tell us that heaven is an actual physical place and that God was the one who made it.  The Scriptures also tell us that heaven is where God has His throne.  According to the Scriptures, heaven is the destination for Christians when they die.  But what even most Christians do not realize is that heaven is not the final destination for those who believe in Jesus Christ.  In fact, the Bible tells us that God is going to build a new heaven and a new earth.  The highlight of the new earth will be a massive city known as the New Jerusalem that will be the ultimate destination for those who belong to the Lord.  But perhaps we are getting ahead of ourselves.  Let's take a look at what the Bible says about heaven one step at a time.....
